1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the National Mosque mobile application ("App") and related digital services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use or access the App.

2. Religious Guidance & Zameel AI Disclaimer (Not a Fatwa)

CRITICAL RELIGIOUS NOTICE: The conversational feature powered by artificial intelligence known as "Zameel AI" provides general educational, historical, and linguistic information regarding Islamic practices.

ZAMEEL AI DOES NOT ISSUE FATWAS (RELIGIOUS RULINGS) OR BINDING LEGAL VERDICTS.

Matters of personal fiqh (jurisprudence), marital disputes, inheritance distribution (Mirath), contractual disputes, and complex religious determinations require comprehensive contextual investigation by certified, living scholars. You must consult recognized Islamic scholars or the Board of Imams at the National Mosque Abuja for official religious rulings tailored to your specific circumstances.

Neither the National Mosque Abuja nor its developers shall be held liable for any decisions, actions, or omissions made in reliance on AI-generated information.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

The App is dedicated to worship, education, and community brotherhood. You agree to use the App in an honorable and lawful manner. You expressly agree not to:

• Transmit offensive, defamatory, profane, or blasphemous content through community sign-ups, feedback forms, or AI chats.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or proprietary AI prompts of the App.
• Introduce malicious code, viruses, or automated scrapers to disrupt mosque services or infrastructure.
• Misrepresent your identity, impersonate any mosque official, Imam, or another worshipper.
• Use the App to solicit commercial business, unauthorized fundraising, or political campaigning.

4. Voluntary Donations & Refund Policy

The App provides verified payment integration via Paystack to enable worshippers to contribute Zakat, Sadaqah, mosque facility maintenance funds, and humanitarian outreach.

• Voluntary Contributions: All donations made through the App are strictly voluntary charitable gifts (Sadaqah/Zakat) intended for public and religious benefit.
• No Refunds: Once a donation transaction has been authorized and completed through Paystack, it is non-refundable, except in verified cases of technical duplicate billing or system error reported within forty-eight (48) hours of the transaction.
• Security: All financial payment data is handled securely under PCI-DSS standards by Paystack. We do not store credit or debit card credentials.
• Tax and Receipts: Official electronic donation receipts are generated automatically using the transaction reference ID for your accounting records.

5. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

The text of the Holy Qur'an, translation metadata, and audio recitations are sourced through the Quran Foundation and respected Islamic authorities, subject to their respective copyright and open licenses.

All application trademarks, design layouts, logos, graphics, brand identity, audio recordings of Friday Khutbahs, and custom software code are the exclusive intellectual property of the National Mosque Abuja / Nigerian Mosque Services. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

6. Prayer Timetables & Qibla Direction

We take every technical and astronomical measure to ensure accurate prayer calculation based on geographical coordinates and National Mosque Abuja standards. However, local topographical factors, atmospheric variations, device compass calibration inaccuracies, or magnetic interference can affect readings. Worshippers are advised to verify timings against local visual twilight signs when appropriate.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at our discretion, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the reputation of the National Mosque. You may also terminate your account at any time via in-app settings or via our account deletion portal.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Nigerian law, the National Mosque, its trustees, Imams, officers, developers, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or inability to use the App, including network interruptions, hardware compass deviations, or third-party service downtime.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes, controversies, or claims arising from or relating to the App or these Terms shall first be submitted to good-faith amicable settlement through the National Mosque Administrative Council. If an amicable settlement cannot be reached, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Nigeria.

10. Modifications & Inquiries
